Words can't describe this place, which appears to have changed very, very little in its 150+ years. Centuries-old pubs are commonplace on the other side of the pond, but not so much in the U.S., especially in a place like New York where so many places get absorbed and recycled into history.

McSorley's is the real deal... definitely worth a visit if you enjoy old places and atmosphere. The beer (two choices: dark and light) is pretty good, too.
