I know it's supposed to be all about the beer, and this place certainly has a superior selection. What troubles me is that I've frequented the place at least a dozen times and EVERY single time the service is attrocious. The staff is either rude, arrogant or AWOL. Unless you sit at the bar, it's nearly impossible to get a beer...even when it's slow. I'm taking my business elsewhere until I hear it has improved.

Enormous, European-style ale house with an absolutely ridiculous number of Belgian and German beers (and American microbrews!), brought to you by the same folks that are responsible for Bottleworks. Very old world feel inside, huge bar, cozy leather-accented parlor and a small outdoor seating area to boot. Don't forget the food here, either - the steak and frites are amazing. I've found the service to be just so-so, most likely because they seem to be just short the amount of staff needed for such a big place.

An absurd selection of beers on tap. Their selection of Belgian style beers is especially good!

There is no place better in Seattle for drinking beer. The variety is out of this world, the quality of each pour is perfect, and the waiters know about beer.

God Bless Brouwers.
