Let me start by saying this is a family friendly pub. For me that's a plus because I've got two kids and *still* like to enjoy the pub experience. Laurelwood provides a comfortable environment for familes. I've heard others complain that the family friendly atmosphere is not inviting (if your not a family type).

The family aspect aside, Laurelwood makes damn good beer (see: http://www.laurelwoodbrewpub.com/awards.php).
