Really loud and rowdy much of the time, which spoils it for me.

The German food is passable, which is ususual. They used to make a wicked tomato salad; wasn't as good in the last year or so.

Try the spaetzle sometime for an idea of what good Schwaebian home cooking is like. :-)

I'd say about half of the staff is Teutonic, either German or Austrian.

Fun place to go and just hang out - every time I've been there, there hasn't been much of a crowd, but it's also after the dinner rush too. The place has a lot of atmosphere, and most of the time there's live music (polka) going on.

They also have a Stein Club you can join with the prize of a custom beer stein after trying 27 of their beers.
