The Firehouse Lounge is the only venue in Pittsburgh that can lay claim to the word "swank." It maintains an upscale, chill atmosphere without being inaccessible to the blue-collar ethic that defines Pittsburgh.

The bartenders are fantastic and very knowledgeable about the wide variety of beers available. The tenders also make fantastic mixed drinks that are a favorite of my less beer-inclined friends. Highlights include the banana split martini.

The Firehouse also boasts a very nice deck that is open year round (it's wrapped in plastic and heated in winter). Ultimately, the firehouse is just a great place to kick back and relax.
