Not bad for an unfiltered hefeweizen. Locally produced definitely gives it an extra star, but overall, it is good to drink on a summer afternoon when you want a crisp wheat ale, but not for everyday consumption.

Basically, I have a fear of Hefeweizens. The traditional hefe, the kind that's cloudy and clovey and hoppy, sends shivers up my spine. However, this hefe is awesome with zero clovey flavor. It does have apricots and lemon flavors with a slight hop to the finish so it's very drinkable on a hot summer day. I actually add more lemon to beef that flavor up. It's my favorite wheat beer.
