I was very lucky to discover this while visiting Belgium in 1998, a few years before it was declared the world's best (and rarest beer). It is the most balanced of all the trappist ales, and it improves significantly with age.

One of the last Trappist ales still made by monks. This is the best trappist beer in my opinion. The bottle have no labels and are known by the color of their caps. If you can find this beer in the states, get as much as you can.
