Of the many ciders that I have tried, quite a few of them tend to taste like alcoholic apple juice, with a definitely sweet, sometimes sickly-sweet, taste.
Strongbow is a good deal dryer in flavor than many others.

This is one I used to drink in the Irish pubs in Germany, although it's a British cider ale. I know there are better ones out there that I'd like to try; this so happens to be the one I got stuck on, which taught me that I really like cider ale.
