a heavy, solid pale ale...hopefully it's always a last restorn if you come accross a bar serving up midwestern lagers.

I'm just not a fan - it'll do in a pinch, but I think it's too hoppy. I mean, it's a pale ale, so what do I expect? Hops, right? Yeah. And at least it's got flavor. Still. Hops. Meh.

mmm sierra nevada. an entirely drinkable beer with a pleasant taste. Not too malty, not overly hopped, not fizzy yellow water... ENJOY !

The very first non-awful beer of american descent I ever tasted.
Nothing truly special, but always a good choice.
The hops are not too oppressive, and the taste is pleasant overall.

This is an old standby. If the bar doesn't have anything new, then I know I can rely on Sierra Nevada.

Clean taste and always available. It's my fall-back default beer.

A fine IPA, consistent and available everywhere. Clean and mildly hoppy, rich amber color. Great on a hot day.

SNB Pale Ale is the California Pale Ale style. Thanks to them for all of those that have followed and for their chico ale yeast strain. See my pics of the brewery here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/scott_r_holmes/sets/72057594115343845/

A very hoppy, bitter beer, with a semi-clean finish that lingers on the palate. I've enjoyed it while mowing the lawn, but I'm not sure I'd say it's the best "lawnmower beer."
