The 2003 GABF Bronze Medal winner. Very tasty. Deep roast flavor, almost coffee / chocolate bitter. Smooth, satisfying mouthfeel. One of the best imperial stouts I've had in quite a while...
Surprisingly, it is brewed for Thirsty Dog by the nearly defunct Frederick Brewing Co. Considering how badly Frederick mangled the Wild Goose beers, and the outright murder of Brimstone, I'm hopeful that this could be one of the beers that will save Frederick from complete liquidation.
