A nice clean-tasting beer. Went down smooth and had a good taste, but I didn't really notice anything special about it.

This beer is good with or without a lime. Drink it anytime, it's good in the winter and especially the summer. Looking forward to the summer just writing this...

I like hops and I like malts. When I'm not feeling hoppy, it's all about the malts. Negra Modelo is an excellent malty, yummy beer.

Negra Modelo is the middleweight cousin of Modelo Especial. What it lacks in lightness, it makes up for in delicious malts. Modelo Especial with lime will also be one of the smoothest things you could ever care to imbibe -- the lime cuts some of the body, enabling one to sling them back.
Negra is a great brew for refreshing yourself between rounds, and will do fantastically beside any dinner with some meat in it.

If you want to taste a mexican beer that is not just a copy of some of the non-flavorful american pilsners then give this a shot. It's a dark beer that's not bitter or heavy.

World's best brown beer. This is the benchmark by which you should judge other browns. Almost lager like, but with much more balanced flavor. a hint of sweet and smidgen of bitter.

Best Mexican beer I've had. Great flavor. As with all Mexican beer, awesome with lime and fajitas.

My choice if I'm in a Mexican restaurant and want something other than Corona. Pretty light but at least it has some colour to it.
