Leffe Blonde is the beer I ordinarily drink when I go to the Bier Markt, the Belgian bar in Cleveland (on tap there).

It has a slightly sweet taste and flowery bouquet.

Actually, a corked bottle of Leffe Blonde was my introduction to Belgian beers. The bottled version I like a bit better than on tap; it seems a bit more compact and complex. I also prefer it at a slightly higher temperature than it is served at Bier Markt.

A great wheat filtered beer - much better than a Hefe. "Less grass."

The beer itself is great. But no matter how I try and pronounce this beer I get wierd looks. Even after coaching by a girlfriend who had spent several years in Germany, I still can't consistenly order first try, so default to the asian food method: "Number 4 please"

Bugger.
