Pretty basic tasting, but it goes down well, it's easy to find, and it just gets the job done. It's my favorite everyday beer, so I give it a 5 out of 5 just for that reason.

Certainly a better beer than Molson Canadian, but I don't appreciate beer that changes it's logo to appeal to less patriotic French Canadians.

See logos here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labatt_Brewing_Company

Still, it's a pretty generic lager.

I'm erring on scoring Labatt high, though I'd really like to give it a 3.5. Labatt is clean, tasty, and delicious out of the bottle. I find it less tolerable on tap, but still a decent standby. This is my brew of choice when I'm ordering at your typical bar.

Labatt definitely qualifies as a step up from most American macro's, and falls in that in-between tier inhabited by things like Stella, Urquell, and friends. Worth trying, worth buying (how I loved this as a starving student), but you really need to get out and try something more exotic than this.
