Ah, Hophead...where do I begin?

Tree Brewing's Hophead is fantastic IPA in the vein of Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale, or perhaps Lagunita's IPA. It has a robust, hopped character (very close to Sierra Nevada in IBUs) with an ultra crisp bite, a balanced body, and a wonderful lingering finish. Almost no bitterness.

I cannot recommend it enough. In the 2 years I lived in Vancouver, this quickly became my favorite B.C. beer (perhaps my favorite Canadian beer).

If you are in the Vancouver, B.C. Canada area, you will be able to find this fine brew at most liquor stores (and the occasional cold beer and wine store). The box is gorgeous, and entirely covered with photo realistic hop buds. And...if you find yourself in Kelowna, B.C., do yourself one better and head on over to the Tree Brewing Company on Richter Street (they have tours on weekends).
