Everyone's favorite meal-in-a-bottle. Not the best stout, nor even the best Irish stout; but a reliable old standby, and it has the advantage of universal availablity. Makes a great cooking beer too.

Just like the name says.... it's Guinness, but EXTRA stout. Very drinkable, but for me personally, not an every-day sort of beer.

Definitely one of my favorites among the Guinness that I can get around here (well, besides on tap). This extra stout version keeps everything good about the regular type and adds an even more rich, creamy texture to it.
It's heavy, but not too heavy - though just like its cousins, a few of these could make for a meal. Slight roasted taste and maybe a hint of chocolate.
