Delirium Tremens was the first high alcohol content Belgian beer I noticed showing up on tap around Cleveland. It was on tap at the now defunct Warren Tavern in Lakewood and is on tap at The Garage and the Bier Markt in Cleveland (I'm sure it's on tap at other places, too).

Before the Bier Markt came to town, I would drink DT often at the Warren Tavern. It is very good, but now I prefer Leffe, La Chouffe or Piraat.

DT T-Shirts are cool...

Fruit and spice make it a nice sipping beer.

It's okay. After about three quarters of a glass I get tired of it.

Best thing about this beer is the ajax ability to drink it. Its so nicely brewed, and make it an awesome beer to chill with friends while watching tv. It might be on the low side in getting you drunk too :)

Best thing about this beer, are the glasses from the distributor. Find a bar that recently acquired Tremens, throw on a pair of your baggiest cargos and huff your arse out to the pub. After you throw down a few, steal the glass damnit! Hey you paid $9 for the beer, it's the least they could do.

I personally prefer this on tap; but, it's worth the trip to the store for a bottle or two (or ten) for the collectability of the bottles. There's something adorable about pink elephants.
Definitely a good brew-- smooth and sweet to boot. It's easy to forget that it's a higher-gravity ale when you're tasting it (which may or may not be a good thing). The body is very full and there are many fruit notes in it but the finish is spectacular: reticent of a chocolate-covered cherry.

1997 winner of best beer in the world.

Hard to go wrong with that.

If you enjoy a belgian ale, this will not disappoint. Bottled in a distinctive stoneware look bottle adorned with hard to forget pink elephants.

The beer itself is one of the finest. It has a mildly fuity taste with amazing spice.
I can't recommend it highly enough.

(also, be sure, not to chug this beer... it's a waste of the beer, and.. well, it's 9% apv... you'll notice after a couple of them ;) )
