A full-flavored beer, almost like a Scottish Ale. Plenty of hops and caramel, and a smooth finish.
I'm starting to see this in 'normal' grocery stores around here (Chicagoland).

As others have said, just an all-around well-balanced ale. Good flavor, very drinkable. Good on tap when you can find it (harder to come by in the northeast U.S. than the northwest, I'm sure) and bottled.

This is one of my favorites of the Rogue brews. A well rounded experience for both the mouth and the nose. I manage to make it to the brewery every July for their annual tent sale and sampling.

Was skeptical at first but my trusted friend John told me that it was the real deal. And it was. Well rounded beer that's very drinkable.

A nice, smooth beer that is in the top 5 of my favorite beers. It has a candy-like taste when it is poured from a tap.

Lovely. It didn't taste like a dead guy at all. Poured dark brown. Thick and malty. Moderate hop bitterness. Leaves you wanting another.
