Another mediocre beer by the brothers at Widmer. Why they did not actually bottle the origninal Halo beer at over 9% alcohol, is beyond me, but give me a Sierra Nevada over this beer anyday. It is drinkable, and barely hoppy, but nothing to stock up on for a nuclear fallout.

A good cascade hop flavor and aroma but at 45 IBU not overpowering. I think I'll have another.
