Quite simply, I thought this beer tasted like water. I was unimpressed with it. While it wasn't bad, it had no flavor to me so I won't be drinking this one again.

I first tasted Boddington's Ale in Scarborough.
If I were in Ireland on a cold and wet October weekend, I'd be digging into a Guinness, but Boddington's did the trick marvellously.
It looks great, with a nice head.
It tastes good, without any overwhelming hop taste.
It's very refreshing, as these things go.
More to the point, it's very drinkable, and I could keep drinking this down easy all weekend without a sign of a hangover.

In the U.S., Boddingtons in a pub draught can is about as close as you can get to jolly old England. Good stuff.

Especially on draft, Boddingtons smooth ale taste with the Guinness style head is a great pint!

This is one of my top 5 beers. While the draught cans are decent nothing beats it fresh out of the tap (preferrably in the UK).

Great example of the Pub Ale style. Smooth as they come. Don't expect any bold malt or hop flavors. This is a session beer, and a dang good one. Low hop bitterness is present. Creamy malt texture. This beer makes me happy.

Boddington's is the perfect anytime beer, draught or draught cans poured into a pint. It's smooth, and easy to drink. The creamy head distinguish it as a great beer. Grab a spoon, if there is a desert beer, this is it.
