Now they are back in the old brewery in Hoegaarden, because Inbev couldn't garranty the quality in the new brewery in Jupille. It's a graet beer when you are thursty.

Only beer I got to drink for two days in London. Nice summer beer, went well with dinner both nights.

Good refreshing summer beer. Hint of citrus and overall pretty mild.

I'd say it falls into the category of the "Champagne of beers" along with only a small handful of others. Delicious.

Summer's not summer without Hoegaarden. Preferable consumed in a beer "gaareden" (sorry for the pun).

Hoegaarden is one of my least favorite beers on the planet. It's fruity-flimsiness does nothing for me. I'd buy it for my lady or drink it to cool off on a hot summer day, but other than that I have no love for this, the 'lemonade of beers'.

Try it with a lemon wedge. I know, iknow why damage the beer that way... Trust me it helps.

One of my favorite beers. Not much else to say that other have not said already, super smooth, fruity/unique taste.

My friend in Belgium recommended this to me. We even have it here in Casper, Wyoming, I discovered; so it is on my list to try one of these days.

My favorite white beer, also ranks high on my list of all time favorites. There's some subtle flavor and aroma here that you just don't find in other beers. One of a kind.

I'm probably not objective coming from Belgium myself, but this is one of the beers I enjoy most on a warm summer evening, served with a slice of lemon.

Served with a lemon, there are few things better than a Belgian wheat when the mercury starts to rise. Not my favorite wheat beer, this one lacks some of the subtleties I've come to appreciate from other wheats (banana!) but this one is consistent and available just about everywhere.

Whew! I do not like the 'ho-garden!' I had it the other night at Flying Saucer, because I really LOVE the Sam Adams White. This Hoegaarden actually tasted like a watered-down version of Blue Moon White, which is drinkable. The flavors were there, but they were muted. Maybe it's because I love flavorful beers (like Stouts), but I'm just not into the Hoegaarden. Sorry guys!!

Hoegaarden is unbelievable mixed 1:1 with lemonade. Or by itself.

An excellent white beer. A subtle hint of dried banana with an aftertaste that reminds me of a sip of water after slamming down a tequila shot with lime.
Also recommend Wittekirke - ballpark taste, but a bit more carbonation and stronger banana and lime flavors (no watery tequila after-taste).

It's the giant glass. How can you go wrong with the giant glass?

My favorite Belgian wheat beer, beating German hefeweizen any day. For outdoor summer sipping. Also, excellent for cooking mussels in.
