I didn't add any fruit to it although I'm totally opposed to the concept but this one had enough flavor that it didn't need any enhancement. I was pleasantly surprised since I typically prefer the bigger, bolder ales.

It's good, but requires the orange slice. It shouldn't *need* the fruit, but it does.

Pretty decent beer, but lacks something that differentiates it from other wheat beers. And don't fruit it. Please. DON'T FRUIT THE BEER.

Nice light wheat beer for summer days; when the weather lacks a breeze, Blue Moon cools you down.

In beer making in general, it is very hard to get this smooth and subtle of a taste. very good beer, I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys wheat beers.

The only time I enjoyed this beer was when I had a black and blue, (Guinness and Blue Moon for those that might not know). A much better choice is Sunset Wheat by Leinenkugel.

A good option if the place you're drinking at doesn't have one of the Belgian or German wheat beers on tap. Blue Moon seems to be more readily available at a wider variety of places in Pittsburgh than the Imports. Again, it sure beats the Coor's Light, Bud, Miller junk.

This beer is pretty overrated. Better than Bud Light, sure, but nothing special.

Why the orange slice? For flavor. This beer seriously lacks.

A very drinkable but unremarkable "white beer", which explains why Coor's bought it. This is what I like to call "light white". It's like an over-carbonated Tucher with that tell-tale American flavor profile, or lack of it.
I've had canned euro-white beer that is far better than this offering in the bottle. A good option for late night 7-11 beer, but I would spend the extra dough to get the real thing if given the option. Brewers in Bavaria would probably spit this beer out upon taste and declare war on Blue Moon, which is probably why Americans drink it up. When it comes to beer, wake up and smell Europe.

Love this beer. First time I had it the bartender put an orange slice in it, I was like WTF? But I tried it and with or without the fruit slice it is at the top of my list. Very nice, very tasteful!

Super refreshing, who knew that a huge brewer like Coors could actually make something that actually tastes good?

Always my favorite. I like it served cold in a huge glass with an orange. My friend, who is Belgian, and I went to Golden, Colorado, recently to do a tour of the Coors Brewery, and even he thought it was not half bad. I always choose it when it's offered.

Light creamy, with hints of blueberries.
Good starter, but don't drink more than 3.

If you want a REAL Belgian Wheat beer, drink Hoegaarden! Step it up to an import! Hoegaarden is not found everywhere but when you can mix it with a Guinness to make a "Dirty Hoe", try one!

This beer is super. It's definately not too "orangey" and in fact, is best served with a nice slice of orange. It's quite light tasting and when drank cool very easy to drink in quantity :). It really is a lovely beer and a nice treat!

A pale imitation of Hoegaarden.

A great summer beer, and has the advantage of being available nearly everywhere (at least on the east coast of the US).

Not a bad White brew... As others here said, it's better with a bit of orange in it, but at that point, it moves over into the flavored beer category, like Chocolate Stout.
Nonetheless, this is a very drinkable beer. For a much better (in my opinion) white beer, try Samuel Adams White. If you can find it, get it. Blue Moon is a HELL of a lot better than Hoegaarden though!

excellent beer - quite flavorful. hard to believe it comes from the same company as coors light.

One of the local bars floats Guinness on Blue Moon, black-and-tan style, and calls it an "Eclipse." Pretty tasty - the spice in Blue Moon mixes well with Guinness.

My all time favorite beer. Best on tap, with an orange wedge if you prefer (I do).

If I had wanted an orange, I would have bought one! Granted, I've added lemon and lime to beers before, but I couldn't drink this: more power to you if you can handle it.

This stuff is so smooth. Get it from the tap and throw an orange slice in it.

A decent beer with a slice of orange - if one must go to Applebee's, this is the only option worth your time!

Light and refreshing. Great with everything from the beefiest of hamburgers to the hotness or sweetness of Buffalo wings.

Excellent wheat beer, great with an orange wedge. Much better on draft than bottled. Coors doesn't want you to know that they make this. Smart guys, they know that would scare most of us away :-)

Delicious and full-flavored, Blue Moon goes well with lots of different foods. Not too sweet. Especially good with a slice of orange or lemon.
